EyeWris reading glasses that
encircle the wrist
EyeWris can be wrapped around the wrist much like a bracelet, making it easy to wear and quite comfy
Keys and reading glasses, both essential items, often get
misplaced just at that crucial moment when you need them
the most. One option to ensure easy access to your reading
glasses is an eyeglass chain or ribbon, many types of which are available
in the market. These are handy at your work desk but not everyone fancies
walking out and about with one hung around the neck.
Another option is readingglass products designed to be placed on the wrist. It’s certainly a convenient one as it’s so much easier to carry around rather than on one’s head – a sure-fire way to ruin the temples and the fit of your glasses, or in a shirt pocket – ditto, it ruins the shape.
This isn’t a new concept. Other brands have offered the wrap-around-the-wrist option for reading glasses. However, EyeWris, a recently introduced product, seems to have hit the spot with its nifty look and contemporary style, durability, and light weight, designed for an aesthetic look and the wearer’s comfort.
EyeWris can be wrapped around the wrist much like a bracelet, making it easy to wear and quite comfy. The glasses use patented folding technology, created by Mark Singer, the founder and creator of Gorilla Glue, and his son Kenzo.
The product’s revolutionary bridge technology allows the frames to spring open and snap shut when closed. When closed, the glasses wrap comfortably around the wrist and stay there quite securely. They offer a good and easy fit for both men and women, and have interchangeable, flexible arms that hold it in place.
Developing a product such as this to offer the perfect solution takes years. A lot has gone into arriving at the final design, with many revisions and tweaks on the journey. Top quality materials, precision craftsmanship and clarity about the design they were looking for finally came together to present EyeWris.
These are sturdy reading glasses made to endure. The polycarbonate it is fitted with is ten times more impact-resistant than glass. The material was originally developed for use in astronaut visors and space shuttle windshields. Great attention has been paid to ensure top-of-the-line scratch-resistant, anti-smudge, and anti-reflective coatings.
Its TR-90 frames ensure they are durable yet lightweight, and feature a precision-tuned titanium-alloy memory metal band.
EyeWris glasses are offered in three different magnification strengths: mild (approximately +1.0 to +1.50), medium (approximately +1.75 to +2.50) and strong (approximately +2.75 to +3.50). Each pack of glasses also contains four different arm lengths to ensure wearers always have the perfect fit for their comfort.
EyeWris, from the founder and creator of Gorilla Glue, a company noted for its premium range of products, is based in Santa Barbara, USA.
